General Cable India “adopted” a small rural girls school in Baddi, India, where the Company recently opened a new manufacturing facility.
“We have made the commitment to support this school because girls schools in the country are particularly under budgeted by the government,” said Mathias Sandoval, President & CEO General Cable, Rest of World. “We have a corporate commitment to be socially responsible in the communities in which we operate, and while supporting this girls school is a small effort, we hope we can have a positive effect on the lives of many girls in Baddi, India.”
